ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
 
The Northwind Homeowners Association is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation organized under the Non-Profit Mutual Benefit Corporation Law. The purpose of this Association is to engage in any lawful act or activity for which a corporation may be organized under such law.
 
The Association was formed to:
 
  • Provide management, maintenance, preservation, and control of the contiguous lots, parcels, and all areas owned in common by the owners of the separately owned lots, and of the separately owned lots within those certain tracts of real property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, commonly known as the Northwind Homeowners Association.
  • Promote the health, safety and best interests of the residents within the community; and,
  • Exercise all rights and to perform all of the duties and obligations of the Association as set forth in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs), applicable to development, and currently recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
 
BUILDER
 
WindStream homes were built in 5 phases between 1979-1984 by Ponderosa Homes, one of the largest builders of homes in California.  Ponderosa Homes, in business since 1968, continues to develop custom home communities in both northern and southern California.
 
ARCHITECT
 
WindStream homes were designed by Cordell Ross and Associates, Inc., a custom residential design and construction management firm, serving the community, since 1975. The firm has provided complete design, construction documentation, with specifications for many of the largest developers in Southern California.
